Dedicated to Providing Excellent Customer Service & Stylish Designs
Yien Ha-Watson ~ President & Creative Director
Yien has always wanted to own her own floral shop and is thrilled to be living her dream. Compared to the other Ellis team members, she is a late bloomer to the business, pardon the pun. Yien started her career as a university administrator where she had the opportunity to travel around the world to recruit and admit students to the graduate business program at the University of Toronto, her alma mater. When the opportunity presented itself to own her own business she jumped at the chance! Yien has always had an interest in design, especially with flowers and plants. In her capacity as the owner, she gets to indulge both her passions of business and hands-on design work.
When she is not working, Yien enjoys reading, travelling, entertaining friends and family and spending time with her husband and her two children.
Natalie Taylor ~ Event Consultant & Designer
Natalie’s passion in design started when she was a little girl working with her father in his giftware business. From there she earned her diploma in Visual Merchandising and began her career designing window displays and merchandise set-up for such clients as Ikea and Tim Horton’s, to name a few. She has also traveled across Canada and the United States designing and setting up for the Canadian Gift and Tableware Association’s (CGTA) gift show. Natalie began floral design over 12 years ago and has since created stunning floral décor for countless weddings and corporate clients - she was one of the key designers for our most recent event, PROM at the ROM. When she is not working, Natalie enjoys spending time at her cottage and hanging out with friends and family.
